“The Trouble With Grief Is’ … ‘It Can Tap You On Your Shoulder And Remind You, Remind You That A Loved One Is Not Here To Share In That Moment.”
From “Grief”, a poem by Njaay Mboge.
Grief is something that is common to us all, whether it’s little losses like losing at an All 4 Inclusion quiz night :-) or big losses like the lost of a loved one especially around the time of Christmas.
Grief doesn’t know whether you celebrate a holiday or not, it just shows up! It shows up in the moments that you used to share with a loved one and if that moment is created because of a holiday like Christmas, you are sorely reminded that they are no longer here. That now, they and moments like that are only but a memory :-(
This can be hard and it can take time to move forward from. Hell, you may never! We must however, learn to grow around the grief because you are here and alive.
So if you are still grieving a lost, made even more painful by the holidays and are finding it hard to move forward with the New Year, All 4 Inclusion is here for you.
We aim to reduce loneliness for all, particularly those affected by disability. Over the years, we have supported …. people through our online community and our annual in person event. People have reported …
Grief is hard but it can be made a little easier when you have support around you even just online. Knowing that there is a community of people willing to hold space for you, makes it feel a little less alone.
As we head into Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year on January 20th amidst even more colder weather, getting a support group becomes even more important as we stay more indoors becoming even more isolated.
Remember, You Don’t Have To Do Life Alone. There Are People Who Get You And Your Life.
